Our Mission at Mystery Creek is “to be the best multi-functional events organisation, providing quality events and service to our customers”.
Hosting an event of any description at Mystery Creek Events Centre is not just about “venue hire” but about the entire “event experience”. Our professional staff are able to arrange a wide variety of activities for your participants, organised in a professional and friendly manner. At Mystery Creek Events Centre we focus on ensuring that the event experience exceeds the client’s expectations and is enjoyed by all participants.
It is with this event experience in mind, that we present you with some magnificent ideas to turn your event into a memorable one!
Who are we?
Mystery Creek Events Centre is owned and operated by the NZ National Fieldays Society. The Society operates as a non-profit organisation, registered with the Charities Commission. The Society was developed in 1969, focussing on the development of the NZ National Agricultural Fieldays event.
The land at Mystery Creek was purchased by the Society in 1971, and has been developed constantly since that time. More land has been purchased (now 92 hectares of land); buildings have been built; many of the roads have been sealed; power and water infrastructure has been installed; a water treatment plant has been developed.
The NZ National Agricultural Fieldays event remains the cornerstone of the Society, with more and more events now being hosted as well. The Society now owns and manages the property, Fieldays, Transport and Heavy Equipment Expo and jointly operates the Waikato Boat Fishing and Leisure Show. The Society recently launched their brand new event; Equidays.
The Society consists of a pool of dedicated volunteers and a professional event management team. Both of these groups work in harmony, reporting through to the Board of Directors.
Being a non-profit organisation, any surpluses generated from our own events, or from hosting events, are invested in further development of the property, venues and facilities, so that you, our customers, ultimately benefit!
