Meet the Mystery Creek Events Centre Team

Barry Quayle
General Manager
Barry has a leadership role in the organisation and is responsible for strategic and business development as well as financial management. Barry is also our media spokesperson.


Nicola Greenwell
Business Development Manager
Nicola researches and envisions possibilities for new business directions and opportunities for Mystery Creek Events Centre. She analyses competition and industry changes and keeps Mystery Creek Events Centre current and in the forefront of the events industry.

Vanessa Richmond
Events Manager
Vanessa is responsible for overseeing the Venue Hire Team and the Managed Events Team who deliver events from National Agricultural Fieldays and Waikato Boat, Fishing & Leisure show to conferences and exhibitions.

Ryley McGougan
Events Coordinator
Ryley quotes, plans and delivers events as part of the Venue Hire Team.  She also provides support to the Events Manager for all major events.

Jo Mohi
Events Coordinator
Jo quotes, plans and delivers events such as sporting, team building, gala dinners and conferences as part of the Venue Hire Team.

Sam Dick
Events Coordinator
Sam arranges all the weddings onsite. Working as part of the Venue Hire Team, Sam also quotes, plans and assists in the delivery of other events, balls and gala dinners.

Ariana Tucker
Communications Advisor
Ariana plans and executes the communications elements and media for the New Zealand National Fieldays, Waikato Boat, Fishing & Leisure Show, THE Expo and Mystery Creek Events Centre.
 


Amanda Laurie
Executive Officer to Events Manager

Amanda assists the Events Manager in all aspects of planning and delivering events held at Mystery Creek including Fieldays.  Amanda is responsible for the Events Team in absence of the Events Manager.


Jacqui Cooper
Exhibitor Liaison & Fieldays Activities Coordinator
Jacqui is the primary exhibitor contact for the Waikato Boat, Fishing & Leisure Show.  She also manages several Fieldays activities including Rural Bachelor of the Year and the Fencing Competition.


Gemma Antoniadis
Exhibitor Liaison & Fieldays Activities Coordinator
Gemma plans and delivers the entertainment and activities for the Waikato Boat, Fishing & Leisure Show.  She also manages the Fieldays Ag Artwear and Tractor Pull Competitions.

Chris Cliffe
Sales Executive
Chris is responsible for all site sales for Fieldays, Waikato Boat, Fishing & Leisure Show, THE Expo and other major events.  Chris also sells Fieldays website advertising.


Caz Wood
Fieldays Exhibitor Liaison
Caz is the exhibitor contact for all the Fieldays sites.  She is responsible for ensuring that all Fieldays exhibitor experiences are professional, timely and accurate.


Gillian Crompton
Fieldays International Marketing Coordinator
Gillian works on a part-time basis, advising on strategies and projects for international Fieldays marketing planning.


Barbara Casey
Customer Services/ Admin Support
Barbara is the face of Mystery Creek Events Centre, looking after our reception desk and answering the phones.  Barbara provides invaluable administration support to the entire Mystery Creek Team.




 
 
Terianne Weller
PA/HR Coordinator
Terianne supports the General Manager, Barry Quayle and undertakes the human resources role at Mystery Creek.

 



 
Angela Field
Finance Officer
Angela is responsible for accounts receivable and STREAM ticketing administration within the Finance Team.
 


Irene Smith
Finance Team Leader
Irene heads up the Finance team, managing payroll and financial reporting to the Board.


Roger Bailey
Facilities and Property Manager
Roger deals with properties, facilities and operations for Mystery Creek Events Centre, working on improvements and reporting to the General Manager regarding all of these aspects.



 

 
Noeline Corps
Finace/ Administratoin Officer
Noeline deals with various aspects of finance administration including accounts payable and STREAM ticketing administration.
 


Richard Ferdinands
Operations Delivery Team Leader
Richard oversees the Operations Team, involved in the buildup and breakdown of the site for all shows, conferences and events.


 
Tracy Boyd
Facilities and Property Administrator
Tracy supports the Facilities and Property Manager and provides administration and event assistance in addition to supporting the Facilities and Property Team as a whole.


Brian Griffin
Projects and Maintenance Team Leader
Brian oversees the maintenance of the site and special operations-based projects and major developments.

Site Preparation Crew
Barry is one of Mystery Creek Event Centre's essential operations staff, assisting in the buildup and breakdown of events, and general site maintenance in non-event periods.


Archie Griffin
Groundsman
Archie ensures that the large Mystery Creek Events Centre site looks professional and maintained at all times. He also takes care of cable marking during events and assists exhibitors with sites at shows.


Graeme Mead
Site Preparation Crew
Graeme is involved in site preparation, assisting in the buildup and breakdown of events and general site maintenance in non-event periods.


Terry Harpe
Ag Heritage Curator
Terry is curator for the Ag Heritage and National Dairy Museum on site. He deals with school and group visits to the Museum and Village, continually developing and improving the National Dairy Museum and Ag Heritage Museum collections.



Trevor Preece
Site Preparation Crew
Trevor is involved in site preparation, assisting in the buildup and breakdown of events and general site maintenance in non-event periods



Jean Brown
Gardener / Landscaper
