Our Events
Mystery Creek Events Centre is dedicated to bringing the world to the Waikato. Since the venue has a large amount of land available, many large events have been created to utilise the unique event centre. The following events are owned or joint venture owned by National Fieldays Society:
Transport and Heavy Equipment (THE) Expo 7-9 March, 2013
THE Expo is an industry event that is held every four years. The Expo is New Zealand’s premier forum for the transport and heavy equipment industries to meet and view industry changes, new product developments and technologies all in one place.
New Zealand National Agricultural Fieldays 12-15 June, 2013
The New Zealand National Agricultural Fieldays is the cornerstone event of Mystery Creek Events Centre. Every year, the agribusiness event attracts over 120,000 people over four days in June from all over the world. This event is the reason for purchasing land and developing the events centre to not only organise and run the event, but to utilise it for many other events.
Equidays 18-20 October, 2013
Equidays is an all-encompassing event that focuses on all aspects of the equine industry, business and recreation. There is a strong education aspect with an impressive line up of top international and local trainers & riders conducting clinics. Equidays features demonstrations from a variety of equine disciplines and has a marketplace of equipment and services from the equine industry. Over 12,000 attended the inaugural Equidays held 18-20 November.
Waikato Boat, Fishing & Leisure Show (JV with the Marine Industry Association)
This marine event was introduced to the region in 2003 and has grown to be a must on many boaties calendars. The nautical showcase views the involvement of industry experts and event professionals as the reason for the events’ success.
